Israel will provide financial assistance to those who wish to return to their homes near Gaza

Every month, a family of parents and three children will be able to collect 21,000 Shekels ($5,600).

The Israeli government provided financial assistance to Israeli families who consented to return to their houses near Gaza.

According to Israeli public broadcaster KAN, the Israeli Defense Ministry is advocating a decision to provide financial assistance to Israeli families living in settlements between 4 and 7 kilometers from Gaza.

Following the outbreak of combat on October 7, Israeli military officials evacuated all Israeli settlements bordering Gaza and lodged them in central Israel at the cost of the Israeli government.

According to KAN, the financial assistance also includes Sderot municipal residents, with each adult receiving a daily payment of 200 Shekels ($54) and each child receiving a daily payment of 100 Shekels ($27).

KAN further stated that a family having three children will be able to earn 21,000 Shekels ($5,600) every month.

It was highlighted that the financial grant offer expires at the end of the evacuation period, although Israeli officials have not yet announced a date for the evacuation period to conclude.

According to official Israeli data, around 126,000 Israelis have been evacuated from their homes in southern and northern Israel as a result of the current war on Gaza and the exchange of fire with the Lebanese Hezbollah group.
